Leaving Basel, we travelled to Lucerne by train where we stayed for three night. On our first day we did a self-guided walking tour of the Old City, the City wall and its towers. We then rode the Chateau Gütsch Elevator up to the Chateau for a great view of the city and Lake Lucerne.
