12. Mt Kaputar & Sawn Rocks
Mount Kaputar is within the Mount Kaputar National Park which is just north of Narabr in NSWi.The summit is 1,489 mt above sea level, and the road goes to within 50 meters of the summit. Sadly, by the time we got to the top it was enveloped in cloud. Sawn Rocks is an amazing geological formation called 'organ-piping' a 40 mt high basalt rock cliff face featuring 'perpendicular-octagonal shaped rocks, resembling a giant series of organ pipes'.
