Leaving Queenstown. The road out to the east is on the right

In this photo, the road winds around the mining scared hills.on the top left

Unfortunately it was raining and the cloud was low over Horsetail falls, but we managed to get some shots from the road.

After waiting a few minutes the cloud moved and exposed the top of the falls.

The walk into Nelson Falls took us alongside the Nelson River - Lyell Hwy, Tasmania.

Leaving the Lyell hwy, we crossed the Meadowbank Lake Causway, near Ouse, Tasmania, (Taken through the windscreen)

The Causeway led to the Dunrobin Bridge built over where the River Derwent flowed, before Meadowbank Lake, was formed by the Hydro Tasmania..
