Pieman River Cruise from Corinna
After a night camped at Corinna we boarded ARCADIA II for a leisurely cruise down the Pieman River to where it meets the Southern Ocean. Unfortunately, the weather turned on us once again and it rained almost all day. When we reached the mouth of the River it was too windy and rough to actually go very close to the Southern Ocean. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the 'atmosphere' of a wet rainforest, and realised just how inhospitable the West Coast of Tassie can be!
