Nullawil-Wycheproof-Boort
After a few days at Swan Hill (separate Gallery to come), we headed south to our last Silo of this trip, Nullawil, a very Australian 'Drover and his dog'. On the way, we discovered a little place called Lalbert where they had an amazing War Memorial. From Nullawil we continued south to Wycheproof, where the railway runs down the middle of the main street before reaching Boort. We went there to see an amazing array of Metal Art created by John Piccoli, who sadly, died last year. He is now commonly known as 'The Spanner Man' because most of his sculptures are man of spanners. As well and a number of sculptures around Boort his farming property has a huge collection spread around the Gardens. I will do a separate Gallery dedicated to his work. After a night at Boort we drove 309km south east to our home, for a rest!!
